How to keep african american hair looking salon finished?

okay im african american with a little indian and white mixed in so basically i have what sum people consider ';pretty'; or ';easy to work with'; hair. i want to kno the right products i should use to keep it looking nice even a week after getting it done at the salon. wrapping doesnt always seem to work(maybe its the scarf i use) . should i use a bonnet? or a hair polisher? what???How to keep african american hair looking salon finished?
